Recent release “Jasiah and Grandma” from Covenant Books author Stephanie Reddick-Washington is a heartwarming tale of a beautiful relationship between a grandma and grandson. When Grandma becomes ill, Jasiah turns to prayer to see her through.

Stephanie Reddick-Washington, a proud family matriarch with a degree in psychology and an MBA, has completed her new book, “Jasiah and Grandma”: a delightfully heartwarming children’s tale of the special bond between a grandma and her grandson.

Stephanie decided to write this children’s book because she was diagnosed with renal failure and had to go on dialysis. She saw that her time was cut short with her grandchildren (especially her grandson). Her grandson did not understand sickness, so she had to explain it to him. Stephanie prays that this book will help all grandparents and children in similar situations.

Published by Covenant Books of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, Stephanie Reddick-Washington’s new book includes vibrant illustrations that depict the story of Jasiah and his grandma as they enjoy their weekends together.  When grandma becomes sick and Jasiah can’t see her, he and his mom pray and pray for grandma to heal so that they could be together again.

Readers can purchase “Jasiah and Grandma” at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes store, Amazon or Barnes & Noble.
